Don't Miss The Arizona Opera Performance in Phoenix Arizona Opera, currently running its 42nd Season, has at least five grand operas throughout Arizona every season. It also happens to be the only company in the US that performs in more than one city. Arizona Opera, initially called the Tucson Opera Company, was founded in 1971. Its inaugural performances were Rossini’s The Barber of Seville in Tucson and by 1976 – 1977 they were performing in both Tucson and Phoenix.
Apart from its five grand operas each year, Arizona Opera also offers in-school touring productions and various other events for people of all ages. Subscription of their full season tickets for the Phoenix performance range between $104 and $456. You can get some discounts on Friday’s shows and on some of the seats on any day for senior citizens and students. |
