Have A Great Camping Getaway! The Alamo Lake State Park is one of the pristine and beautiful sites for camping getaways in Arizona. The harsh desert splendor is reflected off the water. Cacti mark the rocky landscape that surrounds the lake. The Alamo Lake State Park offers a variety of outdoor fun to be enjoyed during the getaway, premier bass fishing, rest and relaxation. For those who love nature, spring rains fill the land with wild flowers and the lake area suddenly comes alive with a variety of wildlife year round, such as bald and golden eagles, coyotes, foxes, waterfowl, mule deer and wild burros.
The Visitor Center is open from 8 am – 4:30 pm daily. The Lake also has a store that sells regular supplies. The entry fee per vehicle is $7.00, and for individual/bicycle it is $3.00. There are facilities for day camping as well as night camping and the rates are, non-electric site: $15, electric site: $22-$25. There are some parking charges for the vehicles as per conditions applicable.
