Spend Your Day Exploring The Rich Heritage Found At Casa Grande Valley Historical Society & Museum The Casa Grande Valley Historical Society & Museum is recognized as one of the best small museums in Arizona. New exhibits are developed regularly as this specialty museum in Arizona attempts to provide a comprehensive look at the history, the people, and the heritage. The Museum collection currently contains more than 16,000 artifacts and 22,000 photographs pertaining to Casa Grande Valley history. The Society maintains and preserves important local historical sites as well. These include Heritage Hall, which was formerly the First Presbyterian Church; the Rebecca Dallis School House, a 1930s-era African-American one-room school; and the Historical Cemetery on South Peart Road.
Researchers such as government agencies, local businesses, educators, and students visit this museum in AZ’s research archives and museum collections. The local newspaper consults their archives frequently to supplement its historical records. The Historical Society sponsors a Speaker's Series, workshops, newspaper columns, guided museum tours, and educational programs for children.
