You Will Be Fascinated With The Magic Of Wine Making At The Charron Vineyards Charron Vineyards is one of the oldest vineyards in southern Arizona. The soil, lay of the land and an altitude of 4200 feet with warm days and cool nights makes it a perfect vineyard location. In spring 1994 the first Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines were planted with the first wines becoming commercially available in 1999.
In 2000 the White Merlot won the Governor's Choice Award and has sold out every year since. Today the vineyard has four acres of mature vines and another five acres available for future growth. As well as the signature White Merlot, Charron Vineyards currently produces a traditional red Merlot, Syrah and a Blanc De Noir.
