Go Fishing and Camping With Your Family At Any Time in the Year Round the year camping, fishing, boating, picnicking, and wildlife sighting makes this Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area a popular camping area. This stunning camping area, located in the Apache - Sitgreaves National Forest, was opened in 1994 for the public. Show Low Creek flows into Fool Hollow Lake, giving a natural feeding ground for a variety of aqua life. There are five fishing platforms around the lake. Fishing opportunities are abundant with rainbow trout; large and small mouth bass, black crappie, green sunfish, channel catfish, walleye and Northern Pike are all found in this lake.
The Park Entrance Fee is $7 per car and $3 per individual/bicycle. The rent varies according to the accommodation chosen: Non-Electric/tent site ($17); Electric site ($30); Specific “Double sites” ($ 50). This is a great location for camping getaways in AZ!
