Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary, formerly called Heritage Park zoo, is a non-profit wildlife sanctuary dedicated to the conservation and protection of native and exotic animals. Set in scenic Prescott, Arizona, the sanctuary provides a platform of recreation, education and amusement for all ages. With the mission of "Conservation through Education," Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary provides a novel and up-close experience with animals guests may see nowhere else. Animals at Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary all have a story and lesson to show.
The most fascinating exhibits, and one which is exclusive to the Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary, is the Tarantula cave. There are also 2 interactive enclosures: wallaby Walk-About and Kiwanis Korner Animal Encounter. Admission for members and kids to this AZ zoo is free for kids under 3, while for others it ranges from $5 to $8.
