Spend Your Weekend Surrounded With History & Nature Homolovi is still considered to be one of the sacred homelands by the Hopi people of today. The years have brought many changes to Homolovi. In an effort to protect some of these sites the Hopi people supported the idea of the Homolovi State Park, which was opened in 1993.
The park facilities include a visitor center and museum, various trails and a campground for a camping getaway in AZ. Several covered picnic tables are located throughout the park. The Park Entrance Fee is $7 per car and $3 per individual/bicycle. Reservations can be done in advance through the website.
