Lost Dutchman State Park has been named after the fabled lost gold mine. It is located 40 miles east of Phoenix, in the Sonoran Desert. Take a walk into nature. One can also witness a variety of hiking trails, nature trails, picnic facilities, and a dump station. If you are going for hiking, ensure that you carry enough water and proper footwear as the trails are quiet steep and challenging. Site reservations facilities can be availed by calling the Reservation Center, 7 days a week, from 8 am to 5 pm MST.
