Enjoy A Great Camping Experience At The Grand Canyon
If you would love to camp around the Grand Canyon, Mather campground is one of the probable camping getaways in AZ. This has over 300 campsites with all the regular facilities. Operated by the National Park Service, it offers tent and RV camping. Wood charcoal fires are permitted in providing campsite grills only. Laundry and showers are located near the campground for a fee.
The campsite at Mather Campground is located within walking distance of the general store and post office at Market Plaza. The fees are $18 per night. A maximum of 2 vehicles, 6 people, 3 tents are allowed per site. Group sites are also available at $50/night, maximum of 50 people and 3 vehicles are allowed per group site.
